Nutrition Week at our school was all about helping our little ones discover that healthy food can be colourful, fun, and absolutely delicious. Throughout the week, the children brought a variety of nutritious homemade treats that sparked curiosity and joy in every classroom.
Tasty Treats That Teach Healthy Habits
From protein-rich besan chillas and laddoos to sprouts packed with vitamins and minerals, our young learners explored ingredients that support strong growth. They also enjoyed familiar favourites made with semolina (rava/sooji)—like upma, idli, and rava dosa—showing how simple dishes can still be nutritious and comforting.

Learning Through Sharing and Exploring
One of the highlights was discovering the goodness of ragi, a grain known for its calcium, iron, and growth-supporting nutrients. Soft ragi idlis, laddoos, and other snacks helped children appreciate the value of traditional, wholesome foods.
The week was not just about eating—it was about learning, sharing, and bonding. Children happily exchanged their snacks, talked about what they brought, and understood why these foods help them stay energetic and healthy.

Building Lifelong Healthy Habits
Nutrition Week beautifully encouraged our little munchkins to embrace healthier choices. Through fun, flavour, and exploration, they learned that nutritious food can be enjoyable and exciting—one tasty bite at a time!
